Our Story
The Southern Social started by simply helping friends and family with their weddings, jumping in as an extra set of hands, keeping things organized, and making sure the day ran smoothly.
What began as favors quickly turned into a love for weddings and celebrations of all kinds. There’s something special about being behind the scenes, making sure everything comes together so you can actually enjoy your day.
Now, we focus on wedding and event coordination services, along with party planning for life’s special moments. We don’t do full planning, just the hands-on support that keeps everything on track and stress-free

Meet Emeline Murphy
Emeline Murphy, a native of McMinnville, TN, found her passion for celebrations through her love of weddings and the joy that comes with helping special days come together. Known for her calm, steady presence and her eye for the little details, she enjoys being the extra set of hands that helps everything run smoothly behind the scenes so others can truly be present and enjoy their day.
Emeline is married and values building a life centered around family, faith, and meaningful moments. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, spending time at the lake, and staying active. She is involved in her church community and loves being with family and friends, especially while cheering on sports and enjoying simple, everyday time together.
